welcome to the living word of God in Genesis chapter 48 verse 12. so Joseph brought them from beside his knees and he bowed down with his face to the earth
Joseph the man second most powerful man in Egypt just next to Pharaoh
Joseph the man whom Pharaoh said no person in Egypt would leave his feet unless you come on him Joseph to whom the world came to buy food from Joseph the man who was filled with the spirit of God Joseph the one who was with God and who
was always in the company of God but when he came into the presence of his old father Jacob or Israel look at this let me read that again so Joseph brought them his sons Manasseh and Ephraim from beside his knees he Joseph bowed down with his face on the earth this powerful man bowed his head could not look up and look face to face with his father because he honored his father his father who was a pilgrim his father who was on a pilgrim to the promised land by the patriarch of faith and Joseph knew it so when he came into his presence he came with full honor respect of his father I tell you brothers and sisters today this is something that young people need to remember no matter how powerful you might have become no matter how rich you might have become no matter how educated you have become no matter how illiterate and ignorant your parents may be God said honor thy father and thy mother that thy days may be long and well in the land young member to honor your father and your mother as much as Joseph honor his father by coming by bowing down in front of him honor thy father and thy mother. Amen
