MATTHIAS CHOSEN IN THE PLACE OF JUDAS

Welcome to the living word of God in acts chapter 1 verse 15 onward the disciples were together praying to the lord in one accord but they realized they were always 12 with Jesus but one among the 12 fell into sin and betrayed the master Jesus sold the master Jesus to the enemy to be crucified on the cross oh this man was Judas is carried the bible says he was a thief for he took money from the money back but Judas was so shameful instead of repenting and confessing his sin God would have forgiven him he decided to take his life o brothers and sisters there is no sin too great for God not to forgive he is waiting for you to confess and repent and he will forgive but Judas did not and he ended his life may we not be like Judas may we learn to follow confess and repent God will forgive and so they decided in verse 23 and they proposed to name joseph called barsabbas who was surnamed justice and Matthias they said let us choose parts of us justice and Matthias and let us pray to the lord so that God will show us who will replace Judas is character the bible says in verse 24 and they prayed and said you o lord who know the hearts of all show which of these two you have chosen to take part in ministry and apostleship oh they prayed to the lord when it was time for them to select and choose man to teach and to preach and to be apostle brothers and sisters are we spending time and praying in choosing our church leaders our leaders in the institution pray to the lord that the lord will choose that the lord will appoint that the lord will anoint that the lord will empower or are we appointing the ones that we want the one that we like the one that we are in favor may we be like the disciples to pray to God to choose and God chose Mathias and that may that be our experience that the lord choose our church leaders institutional leaders and leaders to be apostles amen
