Acts 2:42

Welcome to the living word of God in acts chapter 2 verse 42 onward if we read it says and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship in the breaking of bread and prayers if we continue to read we find in verse 46 so continuing daily with one accord in the temple and breaking bread from house to house they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart brothers and sisters have you wondered why your church is not growing why your institution is not growing why your ministry is not being effective oh look at this they spend time together in one accord doctrine and fellowship in breaking bread and prayer have you been spending time in breaking bread and prayer and in one accord have you been eating your food with gladness and simplicity of heart have you been loving your brethren have you have you loved your neighbor oh brothers and sisters people of those days and the apostles together they were in one accord they were spending time in studying the word of God they were spending time in breaking bread and in prayer and the little that they had they rejoice in gladness and simplicity of heart is your heart simple is your heart complicated today is your heart filled with wickedness or is your heart filled with love the bible says they sold all their possessions and goods and divided among them all as anyone had needs or they were not selfish they were not interested in accumulation they were interested in sharing and meeting the need of the brethren brothers and sisters are we living that kind of life today are we seeing the need of our brethren today are we interested in accumulation or are we interested in sharing oh verse 47 saying praising God and having favor with all the people or are we praising God and are we having favor with all the people around us and the lord added to the church daily those who were being saved oh I tell you brothers and sisters even our church have to grow we got to spend time in prayer in one accord in simplicity in gladness praising God then God will add to our church daily Amen
