Welcome to the living word of God and in the book of acts chapter 4 verse 23 onward we find that the elders and the church leaders and the priests could not do anything with peter and john they did not find fold on them and they were not able to do anything and so they simply threatened them and let them go peter and john came back to their brethren and they praised God and they said in verse 24 lord you are God who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them yes God is the owner god is the creator god is a sustainer god owns everything when great miracle has happened your life do you acknowledge god do you give gratitude to god i tell you if we move on
in verse 29 they prayed they prayed peter and john in the apostles and the believers of Jesus prayed now lord look on their press and grant to your servants that with all boldness they may speak your word is that our prayer today law brothers and sisters as we look around there is only a position there is only threats and danger to your what you believe what you and I hold to be true we are endangered because of what we hold to be true but when you face such situation do you and I go to God and pray like them now Lord look on their threads oh they did not pray oh set fire and destroy them they did not pray that God would punish them they simply prayed for themselves and they said God look at the threats we want you to strengthen us and give us boldness that we may speak your word may that be our prayer brothers and sisters verse 30 and they prayed God bless us that you may stretch your hand through us to heal and perform signs and wonders only we pray such prayers today and in verse 31 if we read we find that when these things were done and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with boldness may we be filled with the holy spirit because we prayed for it and when we speak the word of God with boldness Amen
