Acts 5:29-32

Welcome to the living word of God in acts chapter 5 verse 29 to 32 we read this but peter and the other apostles answered to them and said we ought to obey God rather than man is that the courage that we have today they told the high priest and the captain of the temple and the silences and the elders of Israel we got to obey God rather than man are you obeying God today are you doing what God asked you to do are you following God according to his teachings from the bible or are you obeying man are you doing what men have designed are you worshiping on the day that men are fixed or are you worshiping on the day that God have fixed which one peter and the apostles say we simply ought to obey God rather than man verse 30 the God of our fathers raised up Jesus from from whom you murdered by hanging on the tree him God has exalted to his right hand and to be prince and savior to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sin I tell you brothers and sisters our Jesus Jesus is our savior he came to this world to save us to bring us to repentance and to forgive us of our sins how can we forget Jesus say I came to seek and save the laws father forgive them for they do not know even at the point of death Jesus was still willing to forgive in verse 32 and we are his witnesses to these things and so also is the holy spirit whom God has given to those who obey him oh brothers and sisters are we not Christians are we not followers of Christ are we witnessing for Jesus are we doing what Jesus did not because what we do will save us oh yes it is the grace of Jesus that has saved us but if we believe that the grace of Jesus have saved us surely in gratitude we will obey what he tells us surely we will do what he had shown us as example isn’t it and the bible says the apostle says God gave the holy spirit to all those who obey him if you want to be filled with the spirit if you want to be empowered by God with your spirit obey him there is no other way obedience to God is the way to be filled with the spirit and to be empowered by God.
