Welcome to the living word of God in acts chapter 9 this man by the name Saul
still breathing that’s what the verse once said threats and murder against the disciples of the lord went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogue of Damascus so that if he found any who were on the way whether man or woman he might bring them to bound to Jerusalem Saul was a young man soul was enthusiastic to do the work of the church not knowing what he did was wrong not knowing what he did was against Jesus sometimes brothers and sisters in our enthusiasm thinking what we are doing is right it can be very much against the lord our savior Jesus Christ so he took the letter from the priest and went down to Damascus but on his way on the way to Damascus he met Jesus brothers and sisters when will your encounter with Jesus be and as he fell to the ground verse 4 he heard a voice saying soul soul why are you persecuting me soul soul why are you persecuting me oh brothers and sisters are you troubling the man of truth the man of God who does the will of God and who stands and speak the truth are you troubling them Jesus is asking you today soul soul put your name in the place of soul and call yourself Jesus is asking you why are you persecuting me and he said who are you lord and then the lord said I am Jesus whom you are persecuting it is hard for you to kick against the goats and so trembling and astonished soul lord what do you want me to do then the lord said arise and go into the city and you will be told what you must do oh brothers and sisters when God calls you when you have found Jesus what is your response we I hope and pray that your response will be like soul lord what must I do then the lord told the soul go to the city and I will tell you what to do listen to the voice of God today.
