welcome to the living word of god in acts chapter 10 we find that there was a centurion in Caesarea by the name Cornelius Cornelius was a good man Cornelius was a god-fearing man Cornelius was a generous man yes he was not a Jew he was a roman centurion oh brothers and sisters
can there be a good man a god-fearing man a prayer a prayerful man
man who did good things outside of your church outside of your fake community and I believe yes Cornelius the centurion was a good man that’s what the bible says verse 2 reads a devout man and one who feared god with all his household who gave arms generously to the people and prayed to god always brothers and sisters how many of us are like Cornelius today a devout man are you a devout man one who feared god do you fear god with all his household one who gave arms generously to the people oh brothers and sisters are you giving today or are you interested only in receiving receiving and receiving rather than giving we as Christians are to give god gave all his and we as his followers are to be giving the giver is more blessed than the receiver that’s what the word of god says and he prayed to god always brothers and sisters are we spending time in prayer are we spending time in talking to god and listening to god and then in the nine hour he’s so clearly in a vision an angel of god coming to him and saying Cornelius and he was afraid and he said what is it lord he knew it was god how did he know that he was god because he was a prayerful man he was a devout man who feared god and I tell you brothers and sisters there is no way that we can fail to hear the voice of god and see god if we are devout if we are fearful of god and if we are giving and doing good things and if we spend time in prayer may that be our experience Amen
