Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts Chapter 13 Verse 22 it reads and when he had removed him who Saul why did God remove him from being the king of Israel because Saul was found Unfaithful because Saul was found to be disobedient Saul did not follow instructions of God Saul began to feel that he can as the king brothers and sisters let us not make that mistake and so God removed him he raised up for for them David as king to whom also he gave testimony and said I have found David the son of Jesse a man after my own heart who will do all my will from this man’s seat according to the promise God raised up for Israel a savior Jesus brothers and sisters David was chosen David was the youngest of the eight brothers in the family of Jesse but he was chosen you remember the story Samuel looked at the older brother and thought maybe this is this this must be the king because he was muscular and strong and handsome but God told him you look at the outside but I see the inside God chose David God anointed David to be the king David became the greatest King yes David had his own shortcomings but every time he made mistake he repented and confessed brothers and sisters God is always willing to forgive us provided we are willing to confess and repent like David that is why God said I have found David the son of Jesse a man after my own heart are we like David a man after God’s Own Heart
why was David a man after God’s Own Heart the Bible says because he was willing to do God’s will are we willing to do God’s will today are we obedient to his teachings are we obediently following him are we following the examples that Jesus have said David was called a man after his own heart because he was willing to do God’s Will and that is why through him came the savior of the world Jesus may we be like David after God’s Own Heart Amen
