Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts Chapter 13 Verse 36 it reads for David after he had served his generation his own Generation by the will of God fell asleep was buried with his fathers and saw corruption but he he whom God raised up so no corruption
David the man after God’s Own Heart the man who did the will of God fell asleep it is not a sleep that we know here it’s talking about in our term David died and saw corruption it means his body turned to dust again
David the man after God’s Own Heart the Bible says after he had served his own Generation by the will of God brothers and sisters today the calling to us is to Shepherd to be his follower but when we are called to be a Shepherd when you are given positions when you are given opportunity to serve do you serve according to the will of the Lord David served according to the will of the Lord and he was called a man after his own art the question today are we shepherding the Sheep according to the will of the Lord are we leading our institutions our churches our organization in the will of the Lord the Bible says David did and he went to sleep brothers and sisters when our time on Earth is over and we breathe our last would we have will we be able to say yes I have served in the will of the Lord David did he went to sleep the Bible says David saw corruption yes the dust will become dust again but let us remember the promise of God that he will raise us up when he comes the second time but the Bible says here but he whom God raised up so no corruption that is the promise when Jesus comes the second time and he raises up we will show no more corruption the corruptible body will become Incorruptible body the Mortal will become immortal may that be our blessed experience to do the will of the Lord Amen
