Acts 16

Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 16 if you read you’ll find

that now Paul finds a young man in the city of Derbe and lystra and his name was Timothy the son of a Jewish woman and a son of a Greek man but verse 2 is where I am interested it says he was well spoken of by the Brethren who were at lystra in Lycaonia people in the city of lystra and Lycaonia speak well of Timothy

question today to each one of us as followers of Christ can people in your neighborhood can people in your community can people in your church and your institutions can people in the world today speak well of you

in your presence and in your absence yes sometimes in your presence people may talk very good wonderful things but the real uh you and what they really want to speak about you will be either behind you or in your absence but the Bible says that the people are lesser and economy spoke well of this young man by the name Timothy and I pray brothers and sisters that we will be such a person that in our presence or in our absence people will speak well of us not because we are good but because we try to follow Jesus we try to walk with God we try to do what God wants us to do there are things that God Jesus have taught us to be as his followers and as long as we tried our best this is what will happen and so Paul called timothy and in fact got him circumcised because he was a son of a Jewish woman and he was going to take him for Ministry with him and I tell you because of what Paul along with Timothy the young man whom people talk well off it says in verse 5 so the churches were strengthened in all faith and increasing the number daily oh brothers and sisters may we be like Timothy that the work of God would spread and that increase in the church will be there daily
