Acts 20:13

Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 20 verse turning on Word Paul got ready to leave the brethren of Ephesus in verse 19 Paul told them

in verse 18 let us read and when they had come to him he said to them you know from the first day that I came to Asia in what Manner I always lived among you serving the Lord with all humility with my tears and trials which happen to me by the plodding of the Jews how I kept nothing that was helpful but proclaimed to you and taught you publicly and from house to house I tell you brothers and sisters are we like Paul today testifying for Jesus and when the time comes for us to leave the place of work that we are assigned can we like Paul saying you know the manner I have always lived among you can we say that can we tell our brethren what we have done in the name of Jesus Paul never was concerned about what benefit he would get what profit he would gain what material things he would receive all that Paul was concerned was the sharing the preaching and the teaching and the testimony of Jesus and that’s why Paul was able to say in verse 24 but none of those things move me nor do I count my life dear to myself so that I may finish my race with joy and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the grace of God brothers and sisters as Christians as someone being called from the darkness to light may we be able to say like Paul none of those things of this world do I care about they do not move me I don’t even care for my life and for myself why because that I may finish my race with joy that I may finish my race with joy and the ministry which I receive from the Lord Jesus to testify the gospel of the grace of God may that be our mission not caring about the worldly things but to finish the race with joy to testify for the truth that Jesus has given us may God bless us Amen
