Acts 24

Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 24 you remember now Paul is arrested Paul is to be Tried by the Jewish leaders and the community who were against the teachings of Jesus and they took him to the governor of Judea Felix and Paul was given the opportunity to testify for himself to give his side of the stories and I like this because the Romans always gave opportunity to all the parties involved to tell the sight of the story before a decision is made are we following this principle today in our organizations in our institutions in our churches do we listen only to one side of the story and make decisions or do we listen to all sides of the stories of all parties involved and so Paul in Acts chapter 24 verse 14 saying but this I confess to you that according to the way which they call a set so I worship the god of my father’s believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets Paul confessed to Felix and the people the audience that they that he believed and followed what is written in the law and the prophets Paul was a Believer Paul was a doer Paul was a follower of the law and the prophets verse 15 I have hoped in God oh brothers and sisters where is our hope today is Our Hope in the riches the glory and the glamor of this world or our hope is in God which they themselves also accept that there will be a resurrection of the Dead Board of the just and the unjust do you believe in the resurrection for Jesus said I am the resurrection verse 16 this being so I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and man brothers and sisters is our teachings today is our life today is our faith today acceptable to God and to man Paul said I always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and toward men may that be our blessed experience as a follower of Jesus Amen
