welcome to the Living word of God in genesis chapter 28 we find the story of now Jacob having to flee his home
he had supplanted his brother twice and he had to leave his home brothers and sisters you and I can never escape the consequences of cheating others and deceiving others but I find this here in chapter 28 verse 7 to which I want to emphasize today that Jacob had obeyed his father and his mother what was it that Jacob obeyed oh his mother and father told him we want you to go to your mother’s place and find a wife there and Jacob obeyed brothers and sisters young people today I want you to learn this from Jacob’s life
obey your parents listen to them how many young people have suffered and struggled in life helping to make wrong choices of life partners having rejected the advisors of the parents all the bible teach us through the life of Jacob that Jacob obeyed his parents and he went there there is nothing more important for a young man or a young woman to obey his or her parents and I am sure if not all most of the parents because they love their children and because they want them to leave a beautiful happy life married life they will always try to find the best of the best for their son or daughter and it is wise for the son or daughter to listen to the parents it is wise for you young people to take your parents into confidence when it comes to choosing your life partner or else you may fall into problem young people obey your father and your mother, Amen
