Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 12 verse 20 on word you remember that in verse 1 there was a king by the name Harris he was troubling the followers of Jesus killing some of them putting some of them in prison Here Comes Herod again and that day Herod put on his Royal apparel sat on the throne and gave an oration to them Acts chapter 12 verse 21 he put on his Royal apparel said on the throne and gave an oration he looked magnificent he was great in the sight of God our people because the people shouted in verse 21 this is the voice of God and not of a man I tell you brothers and sisters be careful of what people say about you many times it would be just flattering to get your favor don’t put yourself up so high because people say so voice of gods another man and Herod was feeling great he was puffed up be careful be careful no matter how great and powerful you might be no matter what position you occupy what riches you have if you don’t give glory to God it will come against you you might be holding position and enriching yourself enlarging your uh your residence your position but if you don’t give glory to God be careful in verse 23 then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give glory to God and worms ate him up and he died What a Sad ending of that great king when people said oh voice of God putting on the Royal apparel sitting on the throne Angel of the Lord struck him fell down worms ate him up and he died
could his Royal apparel his position his reaches greatness save him from the Judgment of God no infect worms ate him and died brothers and sisters let us be careful of what we have Who We Are if we don’t give glory to God Angel of the Lord will strike and we may end up like Herod let us give glory to God in everything we do so that we find favor in his sight may God bless us.
