Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 16 we find this beautiful story of A Woman by the name Lydia so they came to a place called as Neapolis and from there to Philippi which is a formal City in Macedonia at a colony and we’re straying the city for some days and on the Sabbath day we went out to the city by the Riverside where prayers were customarily offered and so they went out there by the Riverside and there they met a woman by the name Lydia who was selling purple in the city of Thyatira but she worshiped God there was a lady by the name Thyatira who worshiped God oh brothers and sisters whatever your profession may be you may be a teacher you may be a doctor engineer administrator manager Sports person businessman business woman but do you worship God there’s a difference between people who claim and who really worship God Lydia worshiped God and the Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul I tell you brothers and sisters if you are willing God is willing to work with you she was worshiping God she was willing to listen and God opened her heart to hit the things that spoken by Paul I tell you brothers and sisters as preachers as gospel uh preachers we can do nothing our work is to just preach and teach it is the work of God and the spirit to Open the Eyes and when she and her household were baptized she better saying if you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord come to my house and stay she chose to be baptized she was baptized not a lonely she but her household and then she said if I have found to be faithful in the Lord please come and stay and so they went in and stayed o brothers and sisters are you worshiping God today are you willing to let God work through you are you willing to be baptized are you willing to follow are you willing to support the church through your material things through the things that you have through your talents may we always be like Lydia worshiping the true God willing to let the spirit of God speak to us and willing to be baptized and willing to invite others to be baptized and then willing to support a church amen
