Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 16 verse 29 . there was this Jailer who woke up and realized the doors are open the foundation is shaken chains are loose and you thought everybody has ran away he took out his word and wanted to commit suicide and Paul said in verse 30 he said of verse 29 he said don’t do that verse 28 do yourself no harm for we are all here and so he ran inside and found him and he passed such a profound question in verse 30. sirs what must I do to be saved is that the question that you and I are asking today what must I do to be saved in verse 31 Paul and Silas said believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved you and your household believed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved you and your household what more else
are we honest enough in all our dealings that people are drawn to the foot of the cross searching for salvation and when they come searching for salvation what is it that you are teaching to them your doctrines or simply Believe In The Name of Jesus and you and your household will be saved and so immediately the Jailer invited them cleaned them up dressed them up called his household and they taught them Jesus and the way to Salvation and the Bible says in verse 33 it says immediately he and his family were baptized brothers and sisters there’s no question of oh let my father or let my auntie or Uncle it’s about salvation is about you and your relationship and the choices that you made with Jesus it’s not about today or tomorrow or next week or next year or 10 years it’s about immediately he chose to follow Jesus he and his family and they were baptized I tell you then the verse 34 now when he had brought them into his house gave them food and he rejoiced having believed in God with all his household I tell you do you want to have joy happiness in your family believed in Jesus invite the man of God invite Jesus into your family that’s where true joy and happiness and rejoicing will come into your homes what must I do to be saved believe in Jesus today and you and your household will be saved amen
