Acts 17:4

Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 17 we continue with the story and experience of Paul and Silas in Thessalonica in chapter 17 verse 4 it reads and some of them were persuaded from the reasoning from the explanation and demonstration of Paul and Silas they were convinced who Jesus Christ was and it reads and a great multitude of The Devout Greeks and not a few of the leading women joined Paul and Silas but in verse 5 it reads but the Jews who were not persuaded becoming envious took some of the evil men from the marketplace and Gathering a mob set all the city in uproar and attacked the house of Jason and sought to bring them out to the people but when they did not find them they dragged Jason and some brother into the rulers of the city brothers and sisters

where are we today when we hear the word of God and the love of Jesus Christ Where Do We Stand do we stand among those who are persuaded and convinced and converted or do we stand among those few Jewish people who were not persuaded in fact the Jewish people were the chosen people of God but when God who chose them came in the form of man and lived they rejected him what about us today we have been called from the darkness to light but are we still rejecting the love of Jesus are we still rejecting Jesus Christ are we like this Jewish who were not persuaded and they became envious and they became not only envious but they also invited the evil man from the marketplace are we like them today claiming to be Christian but we do not believe not only that we don’t believe we become jealous and envious and we invite evil people for marketplaces and cause confusion and abroad within the church within the community what are we doing brothers and sisters oh brothers and sisters may we be faithful like Paul and Silas may we suffer like Jason for housing and Sheltering Paul and Silas may we be faithful to God Jesus is faithful and he will come soon
