Welcome to The Living Word of God in Acts chapter 24 verse 24 24 it says and after some days when Felix came with his wife Drusilla who was a Jew he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Felix a Roman Governor wanted to hear about the faith in Christ what about us are we excited about hearing the word of God about Jesus about the word The Living Word
Felix wanted to hear about the faith in Christ where is your faith today is it in Christ if our faith is not founded on Christ the Rock of Ages we have no hope verse 25 now as he reasoned about righteousness about self-control and the Judgment that is to come Paul reasoned with Felix and Drucilla about righteousness about self-control and about the Judgment that is come righteousness of Christ we can only be righteous in Christ through Christ through the blood of Jesus self-control in our talking in our relationship in our food habits in our spiritual life self-control Temperance brothers and sisters are we temper it in what we do and Paul also talked about the Judgment that is to come the great judgment God will sit on the throne the judge will we be found and declared not guilty or guilty yes we are sinners but in Christ and Christ Alone we can be righteous oh it says Felix was afraid and he said go away I will call you again but verse 26 meanwhile he also hope that money would be paid by Paul to him so that he can be released brothers and sisters are we doing things and are we expecting money for us to get things done today money is the reason why organizations are failing why individuals have gone away into sinful World money The Color of Money and that’s why in The Book of Timothy it says the love of money is the root of all evils brothers and sisters Felix was expecting money knowing the truth what about us in spite of knowing the truth do we fall away into sin because of money May that not be our experience Amen
