Acts 7:51

Welcome to the living word of God in acts chapter 7 verse 51 Stephen turned to the elders of Israel the Sanhedrin the council of the elders and said you stiff stiff-necked and uncircumcised in hearts and ears you always resist the holy spirit as your father’s deeds so do you which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute and they killed those who foretold the coming of the just one of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers does that ring something in your air today does it break your heart are we stiff-necked like the children of Israel uncircumcised in our ears and in our hearts oh circumcision was just removing the foreskin but here emphasis is made and the bible all through emphasize on the circumcision of the heart

the external is not important what is inside is important brothers and sisters sometimes we make a show but God remember reads the heart uncircumcised heart pretending yet not accepting pretending to listen yet not hearing anything uncircumcised hearts and ears stiff-necked people are we Christians today yet stiff-necked like the children of Israel are we Christians today in the new covenant of the lord’s supper of the sacrifice of Jesus yet uncircumcised in the heart and the air are we rejecting the law

Stephen said in verse 53 who have received the law by the direction of the angels and have not kept it oh brothers and sisters are we like them today received the law but not accepted it not followed it not kept it how are we Christian today stiff-necked uncircumcised hearts and ears received the law yet did not keep it amazing isn’t it and when they heard this they got angry with him but brothers and sisters let us examine our heart and circumcise our hearts and years let us no longer be stiff-necked let us remember the oracles of God the law of God and obey it and keep it. Amen
