welcome to the living word of God in genesis chapter 29 now Jacob comes to the house of Laban his uncle’s home and as time passed Laban turned to Jacob and I said stay with me and I will pay you wages just because you are my sister’s son why should you work for me free oh I tell you brothers and sisters there is a great lesson when you ask somebody to do something it is good reasonable and Godly to pay rather than expect free service rather than take advantage of people who are at a disadvantage yes Jacob was at the disadvantage he was on the run he came a homeless man even though they were family oh lemon could have taken advantage of that and asked Jacob to work for free but no 11 say you work for me stay with me and I will pay you wages oh brothers and sisters the great lesson here is the economics of God is every labor needs to be paid for and that is Godly or in your institution when you expect someone to work beyond and more than what his official assignment is do you tell them it is part of your job do you take advantage of their availability in your campus in your institution in your organization and you make them work day and night and shrug their life out and then free it is not Godly brothers and sisters the bible teaches us that everything needs to be accounted and as much as accounted for needs to be paid for and so Jacob yes he said I will work but I will work for your daughter Rachel as my wages oh brothers and sisters young men here is a lesson for you to learn and that is when you labor for the girl that you like label heart and God will make a way to make her available for you God bless us as we labor and work and attend to our responsibilities. Amen
